The velocity of a phrase is the percentage of change in consumption of that phrase in the current period of time compared to the previous period. For example, if you set the time filter to one week, then the velocity compares the consumption of the current week compared to last week.
The velocity of the phrases is represented by color – Red indicates a rise in the consumption of the phrase, and Blue indicates a reduction in consumption. This gives an instant indication of what’s trending and what consumers are losing interest in.
